Privacy statement

Who am I?

Pressed Studio (Chamber of Commerce number 42185641) is responsible for processing your personal data as described in this statement. You can reach me at contact@pressedstudios.nl.

Which data do I collect, and why?

• Orders: your name, email address, delivery address and what you ordered (including shape, length, sizes, colour and notes). I need this to make and ship your set and to send you a confirmation. Basis: performance of the contract.
• Payments: payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card or bank details with Stripe and I never see them. From Stripe I only receive what I need, such as your name, email address, delivery address and the confirmation that you paid.
• Account: your email address, name, address and password. I only store your password in encrypted form, so I cannot read it. If you choose to save your sizing, it is stored in your account too. Basis: performance of the contract (using your account).
• Custom designs and extra nails: your name, email address, your description and the photos or files you upload. I only use them to make your design and to discuss it with you. Basis: performance of the contract, or your request to discuss a design.
• Contact forms: your name, email address and message, so I can reply.
• Reviews: the name you enter and your review. They are publicly visible on the website. Feel free to use just your first name. Basis: consent (you post the review yourself).
• "Email me when you're open again": just your email address. You get one email when the shop reopens, after which I delete the address. If no email is sent, I delete your address after 120 days at the latest. To prevent abuse I temporarily keep a shielded code (not a readable IP address) that is deleted together with your sign-up. Basis: consent.

I do not use your data for advertising by others and I do not sell it. I use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics services from others. I do count anonymously how many people visit the site and which pages they view. For that I only store totals per day, page and type of device (phone or computer): no cookies, no IP addresses and nothing that can identify you.

Cookies and local storage

The website only uses what it needs to work. A session cookie keeps you logged in. In your browser's storage I keep your language choice, your cart and (only if you choose so) your saved sizing. This needs no consent because it is required for the site to work. You can clear it in your browser settings.

Who do I share your data with?

• Stripe, to process payments.
• My hosting provider (mijn.host), where the website, the database and my email are hosted.
• The carrier that delivers your parcel, with your name and address.
• Google Fonts: the website's fonts are loaded from Google. As a result Google receives your IP address when you open a page.

With parties that process data for me, such as my hosting provider, the agreements required by law apply. Beyond that I only share your data with others if the law requires me to.

How long do I keep your data?

• Order and payment data: 7 years, because I am legally required to keep them for my bookkeeping.
• Your account and saved sizing: for as long as your account exists. If you want it deleted, email me.
• Photos, files and messages about a design or question: as long as needed for your order and any aftercare. You can always ask me to delete them.
• Reviews: as long as they are on the website. If you want a review removed, email me.

Security

The website uses a secure connection (https), passwords are stored encrypted and payments go through Stripe. No connection or storage is a hundred percent safe; if something does go wrong with your data, I will tell you and, where needed, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Your rights

You can ask me for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict processing, or to receive your data in a usable format. You can object to processing and withdraw any consent you gave at any time. Email me at contact@pressedstudios.nl; I will respond within a month. I may first ask you to prove it is really you.

Do you disagree with how I handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). I hope you will talk to me first.

Changes

I may update this statement if the website or the law changes. The latest version is always on this page.
